Life Drawing

Join the Baxter Arts Centre Life Drawing sessions on Thursday morning from 9:30 a.m. until 12:30 p.m., starting January 5th and until March 9th. Each week a male or female nude model will pose timed gestures.  Bring your own drawing materials or tablet.  Tables, chairs and art donkeys with boards are available. There is no instruction just mutual encouragement and support!  $120 for all 10 weeks or $15 drop in

Stitch-a-thons

Join the SNUGGLES Stitch-a-thons for an afternoon of fun while knitting or crocheting 6″ x 6″ yarn squares to be made into blankets for children in South Africa. Yarn and knitting needles provided or bring your own! Come out the last Monday of every month. Food to Share is a grassroots initiative that addresses food insecurity in the County. The group led by Glen Wallis takes food donated by various farmers and private residents and turns it into healthy, fresh food to be distributed through our local County food banks. Carefully screened, caring and capable volunteer drivers help seniors get to appointments locally & to Kingston, Ottawa, Toronto, etc. The volunteer stays with the senior the whole trip.
