The Milford Market is opening for the season on the Victoria Day weekend with 20 local vendors offering art, photography, pottery, books, goats milk soaps and lotions, honey and beeswax candles, preserves, home baking, and more. Wellington Lions Dragon Boat Club

Dragon Boat

You are invited to join the Wellington Lions Dragon Boat Club every Monday and Wednesday for an hour of fun activity on the water starting at 5:40 p.m. at the Wellington Beach boat ramp. Three paddles are for free so that you can learn the simple techniques needed to enjoy the fastest growing sport for over 40 somethings. Paddles and personal flotation devices are available to borrow. All you need to bring is you!

Summer Car Boot Sale

The County Summer Car Boot Sale takes place every even Sunday during June, July, August and September at 768 County Road 12 from 10:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. There will be used clothes, books, household items, furniture, antiques, and vintage items. Only $20 per car to sell your used stuff at this community yard sale. Proceeds go to the Prince Edward County Memorial Hospital building fund. Hospice Prince Edward is celebrating the 5th anniversary of the residence and more than 25 years of hospice services on Monday, August 20th with an Open House at 40 Downes Avenue in Picton.  There will be music and complimentary cake and ice cream. Food to Share is a grassroots initiative that addresses food insecurity in the County.
