Flood Management Survey
2017 has been a challenging year for property owners and businesses located along the shoreline of Lake Ontario. A very wet spring led to record high water levels which resulted in flood and erosion damage to some shoreline properties. Because of this, the Great Lakes – St. Lawrence River Adaptive Management (GLAM) Committee is seeking input from property and business owners that have been directly affected. They have created a survey asking a variety of questions on the extent of flooding, erosion, damage to shoreline structures, and related damage. The deadline is tomorrow, Friday, December 1st so please complete the survey now. Go to conservationontario.ca/what-we-do/flood-management/shoreline-survey.
