Alzheimer Awareness Month
Nationally the Alzheimer Society has launched the “I Live With Dementia” awareness campaign. Locally councils have proclaimed January as Alzheimer Awareness Month. You will notice that the tree in the Cenotaph in Picton now has blue lights. Blue is the awareness colour for Alzheimer’s disease & dementia. The goal of the campaign this year is to have Canadians think about how they think of people with dementia so when you see the blue lights pause for a moment.
