CONSUMER INFORMATION

On her way to the Ottawa airport, Suzanne O’Connor took County Transit to the train station in Belleville and couldn’t believe how easy and quick it was – every step of the way. Joining us in the studio to talk about County Transit services are Vincent De Tourdonnet, Transit Coordinator for Community Services, Programs and Initiatives for the County and Kyle Ackers, Human Resources Coordinator for Quinte Transit.

January is the Alzheimer Society’s month to raise more awareness about the disease, and dementia in general. With continual research, more is learned each year. Amelia Huffman and Melissa Whalen of the Alzheimer Society of Hastings and Prince Edward will talk about the organization’s focus on brain health and preventing dementia.

The idea of resolutions may be going by the wayside, but the new year is still an opportunity for new chapters and the winter, a time for renewal. So we thought it a good time to learn about the array of programming at the Prince Edward Fitness and Aquatic Centre from its GM, Meloni Crandall.
