The Pity of War: Remembering the Great Escape
Every year, St Mary Magdalene Anglican Church in Picton holds a Remembrance Day Jazz Vespers with the Brian Barlow Quartet, called “The Pity of War”. This year the service is dedicated to the 75th anniversary of the Great Escape by allied P.O.W.s from Stalag Luft III. It’s at 7:00 p.m. on Monday, November 11th, and everyone’s welcome, 335 Main Street, Picton.
