On August 19th, Pedaling for Parkinson’s Prince Edward County Ride takes over the roads.
99.3 County FM is proud to again be a media sponsor for Pedaling for Parkinson’s in PEC, an organization dedicated to making the lives of those living with Parkinson’s Disease better.
Over 100,000 Canadians currently live with Parkinson’s and experts expect that number to increase in the coming years.
Supporting Pedaling for Parkinson’s helps to further research of the disease, as well as improve the services offered to those living with Parkinson’s or those caring for someone with Parkinson’s
The Prince Edward County Ride begins at the North Marysburgh Town Hall on August 19th and has two routes—a 40 KM ride and a 75 KM ride.
There is also a pre-event social mixer for any riders at Prince Eddy’s Brewing Co. Friday, August 18th.
Saturday August 19th Pedal for Parkinson’s Prince Edward County Ride Itinerary:
- Join 99.3 CountyFM on-site
- Registration – 7:00 am
- Opening Ceremonies – 7:45 am
- Ride Begins: 75 km riders leave at 8:00 am & 40 km riders leave at 8:15 am
- Celebratory BBQ Hosted by the PEC Lion’s Club – Starting at 11 am until all riders return!
