Quinte Heritage Festival
The Historic Murray Canal District organization is hosting the Quinte Heritage Festival on Saturday, August 22nd starting at 10:30 a.m. and runnning until 3:30 p.m. located at the northeast end of the Murray Canal, Highway 33 and 12 O’Clock Point Road in Carrying Place. The celebration includes kid’s games, a bouncy castle, croquet games, and dragon boat rides. Meet Parka, the Parks Canada mascot. Speeches by Sir John A. Macdonald, played by noted actor Brian Porter, and our MPP’s & MP’s. Live music, courtesy of the Brighton Arts Council. Light refreshments available.
