The following information is published in accordance with section 35(1)(a) of the Canadian Radio-television and Telecommunications Commission Rules of Practices and Procedure:

The Prince Edward County Radio Corporation, also known as 92.3 County FM,  was formed to set up and operate a community owned and operated radio station serving Prince Edward County in eastern Ontario.

The Corporation applied to the Canadian Radio-television Telecommunications Commission (CRTC) in the first week of July 2012 for a license to operate on 92.3 FM  under “Application No. 2012-0826-5 – Prince Edward County, Ontario”.

On January 16th, 2013, the CRTC announced that the Corporation’s application has been placed on the agenda of the hearing commencing on 20 March 2013, 11:30 a.m. at the Commission Headquarters, 1 Promenade du Portage, Gatineau, Quebec.
