In the quarterly update from the Board last month, we reported that the CRTC had postponed our license hearing (originally scheduled for March) because of issues with the frequency 92.3 FM which we had applied for.
By working together with the CRTC and Industry Canada, we have identified a new frequency –99.3 FM– which is acceptable to both the regulators and to our Board and which will eliminate the possibility of interference.
All of the required paperwork has been submitted and we have been reassured by the regulators that they will try to expedite the processing of our amended application.
We hope to hear soon on the new date for the CRTC hearing to make a decision on our license and we’ll post the news right away when the new hearing is scheduled.
