Prince Edward County Pumpkinfest 2024 will take place this Saturday on Saturday October 19th.
With the staple of locally made and adorned knitted pumpkin hats, there will be giant pumpkins on display, a kid zone including petting zoo, a locals pumpkin pie judgment and a pumpkin themed parade!
The weigh off is back to it’s original location at C.M.L. Snider Public School at 240 Main St Wellington on Saturday October 19th
The Parade will start at 10:30am heading West from Belleville St to Consecon St. Watch for the 99.3 county FM float.
County Axe is bringing their business to Wellington Park from 10am til 2pm. The pumpkin and seasonal vegetable weigh off will be done around the noon hour in the parking lot of CML Snyder. This entrance can be found off Maple St. The awards ceremony will be at 3pm after all the vegetables have been weighed.
On the day of Pumpkinfest, make sure to get the kiddos completed pumpkin carvings in by 10am for the pumpkin carving contest. These carvings are to be completed at home ahead of the day of the event. The contest is open to ages 5 – 13.
