Dave Skippen joined the volunteer ranks at County FM in September 2024. He is recently retired from supporting the Air Force’s Search and Rescue Fleets and living mainly on Salmon Point where his family have had a place since 1988. He splits his time between recording and live band projects in Ottawa and paddling and strumming on Athol Beach. His winters are spent repairing and restoring instruments and skiing. The support given to local artists is what attracted him most to 99.3 County FM.
