Often described as a renaissance woman, Astrid Young is a singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist with a discography that boasts over forty releases. She’s toured the world, sang at the Oscars, and has gold and platinum records on her wall, but she’s perhaps better known around the County as the award-winning Wine Director at Merrill House. A certified sommelier, Astrid is also a best selling author. In 2009 she released the Canadian best seller Being Young: Scott, Neil, and Me (Insomniac Press). She has written several screenplays, made a film, and is currently working on a work of pure, unadulterated genre fiction titled Haunted When the Minutes Drag.
