John Ferguson had a 40+ year career in radio and television news in Ottawa, Hamilton, Bermuda and Belleville.
As News Director his responsibilities included hiring and training staff, arranging shifts, delegating news assignments, collecting, writing and reading local and international news stories, covered city council, hospital and police board meetings. He served for nearly 30 years on the Loyalist College Broadcast Journalism Advisory Board, was a Director of the Southeast LHIN and is currently on the Board of 99.3 County FM. (Newscaster.)
