Alison is part-time staff as lead Traffic Coordinator and hosts Music Flow on Mondays 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
“Assertive, empathetic, and charismatic is how Alison describes herself. Having grown up listening to years of Motown in her parents red station wagon (“Soul Album Music” cassette collection anyone?”), moving into modern-day R&B by stealing from her brother’s collection of CD’s (Stevie Wonder, New Edition, Prince), discovering “Martika” and the controversy around her song “Toy Soldiers”, it was in the late 1990s that Alison finally found her musical solace in rock (Soundgarden, Smashing Pumpkins, Big Wreck). Alison even took it a step further by marrying a musician, and has already made big plans for a family rock band (She’s kidding. Sort of).
Alison has strong opinions and is not afraid to share them with friends, family, and you. She loves to laugh and is incredibly naive. Alison is a community cheerleader, mother to our future leaders, an advocate for equal rights, and she looks forward to interjecting more “pink noise” into the County.
