Bill is on air Wednesday afternoons between 2:00 and 4:00pm and co-hosts Folk Roots with Mark Despault on Tuesdays from 6:00 to 8:00pm.
Bill Mill has been interested in music for most of his life. With experience as a volunteer at the Folk Music Ontario annual conference, he has attended many music festivals over the last 40 years, including The Home County Music and Arts Festival (London, ON), Shelter Valley Folk Festival, Blue Skies Music Festival, Wolfe Island Independent Music Festival, Ottawa Folk Festival, Skeleton Park Music Festival (Kingston) and the Friends of Eaglewood Festival (Sutton). Bill has also performed his original songs in numerous locations which include The Quarter Moon Café (Bloomfield), The Anything Goes Cabaret (Maynooth), The Consecon Legion, the Waring House Kitchen Party, The Tree House Restaurant (Ganges, Salt Spring Island) and Moby’s Pub (Salt Spring Island).
Through his various musical experiences, Bill has enjoyed establishing contacts with a wide variety of accomplished musicians. Bill is pleased to have the opportunity to share some of his musical discoveries with a wider audience as he hosts Folk Roots on 99.3 CountyFM.
